Hello, I am investigating the best methods for "muting" a piano!

Many of us have probably dealt with an annoyed neighbor complaining about our long practice sessions 😃 So, I conducted some tests using various damping elements, such as felt placed on the strings, a blanket draped over the piano case, or rubber pads placed under the piano and few others.

I would like to hear your opinion, musicians, on whether and how strongly the damping methods affect the piano’s sound.

I am therefore asking you to listen to few recordings (less than 10 minutes) and answer a few questions laugh
