It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
When it comes to piano libraries, I'm usually skeptical in a way that at some point I've already played the ones I need, but I do suffer from I could use one more piano syndrome!
Normally even if I like a library, it's just another library that may or may not get used down the road depending on the type of music I record. This WAS very different. You can definitely use it to play traditional piano pieces but there are many good libraries that shine in that area already. Still, what I like about this library is that default samples can go from very small and dry to whatever you'd like to them to be. I've owned libraries in the past with too much room reverb recorded in the samples. It could become a problem at times.
The best part though is the sound design aspect of the library. Possibilities are insane! You could totally compose an entire soundtrack using nothing but this library. NI's Noire has some baby features that add predictable sparkles and stuff, but nothing like this library. I really loved how easy a sample can be manipulated with on-board features. It's really hard to explain. If you're looking for something inspiring, you should definitely check out some videos and see the features for yourself.
I did record a performance/demo overview video of my first experience, but I'll definitely do a lot more with it.
Oh thank you very much. I guess when you play a good sounding library, it's easier to be creative and inspired. I would love to check out your content as well. Let me know if you post on any platform.
