Is it really true that a Master fArtisan comes out to personally fart in every Shigeru Kawai?

I've played some beautifully warm sounding Yamahas.

i tried the yamaha sx cx was very dissapointed sound the same. i never tried the cf series but they might be better.

Well, it could be the preparation of the pianos you tried. In fact I'd wager that's the most likely scenario - they were prepared to be bright and they get a bit thin when they're like that in my opinion.

However, I'm not trying to convince you to like Yamaha. If you don't like it, you don't like it and that's that! I like both Yamaha and Kawai, for different reasons. Even though Kawai's USP is their action, I do actually prefer the Yamaha action.

im amazed what you can get in shigeru kawai compared to yamaha at the price point yamaha sound way to bright compared to shigeru kawai warm thick it have everything yamaha dont have.
As a proud owner of an SK Kawai I have to say Yamaha makes phenomenal playing and sounding pianos just as well as Kawai. In fact, not long ago I entertained the idea of trading in my SK2 for a CX5 because I just loved the bass response on the larger piano.
