Love the comparison at 7:15

Did they remember to turn Off the “Internal Speaker EQ” default setting? It makes all Output tone extra bright and thin. Kawai should reverse that default EQ setting to Off, in my opinion. Sales may be being hurt.

wow, they recorded this so impromptu, it's like they just threw down a potato and letrrip. I like that though, it's not tailored/ artificial, which often misrepresents the product more.

7:15 and 8:18 are great comparison techniques.

Are we hearing the recording of the Line Outs?

Looking at the video, I can only see the power adapter and triple pedal board attached to the rear of the instrument.

Listening to the video, I'm pretty sure the sound is captured from the speakers by the camera's mic (i.e. not Line Out).

Nice video though, thanks for posting, although it's probably better to use the main ES120 thread instead of creating a new thread each time.

Cheers,
James

My understanding that it is Italian for "wire".

[Linked Image]

Wire, as in piano wire, or string.

As mentioned here, the polished trim line on the ES120 is inspired by a grand piano string.

The "Filo" name is only used in Japan, not overseas.

Kind regards,
James
