Piano World Home Page
Please use this forum to post links to other sites you feel would be helpful to our members/guests.

The web site should be piano, organ, keyboard, or music-related.

I've seen a number of posts go by that contained info about other useful sites, but then they get lost in the shuffle.

Please post the name of the web site in your title, and possibly what it's for (Piano, Organ, etc.).
Then, inside your post, create a brief description with a link to the site.

DO NOT use this as advertising to promote commercial sites, or to post any affiliate coded links! I will remove any abusive posts, and may remove the poster too.

I'm thinking of things like the recent post
about the http://www.pianosociety.com (Piano Society) web site, or http://www.keysnovello.com
(John Novello's site).

Of course, keep in mind there are other resources listed in the long box on the right of the forums, and the Main Piano World Site has about 1000 pages of info (see our Directory ).

Plus, we have a long-standing Music Links page (which sorely needs updating, in my spare time).

NOTE:
As usual, I reserve the right to edit or remove posts.

P.S.
If you can get the other site to link back to Piano World (www.PianoWorld.com), all the better.
We help them, they help us:-)

Archiving Useful Threads
We also need help finding useful threads to add to our FAQ forums

I found a good site for downloading various kinds of staff paper. It's www.musicsheaf.com
RowyNet offers you about 2.000 free music scores, all legal, most of it classical, and some music in the public domain, like Debussy's Children's Corner. It is a professionally run website in 9 different languages (even Chinese) and it has a free online music glossary Italian Musical terms > English, French, German or Dutch, and a search engine that scans for sheet music in more than 170 carefully selected websites.

And then there is Quatre Mains, a website with at least 100 free scores for piano four hands in 3 languages: English, German and Dutch, some of them rare, others very known like the Wedding March by Mendelssohn (and the less known Wedding March by Mendelssohn from Camacho).

Classical Sheet Music EU is also nice. It offers you free piano albums at an easy or intermediate playing level. At the moment you can download 17 of them, including the Little Preludes by Bach and Schumann's Scenes from Childhood.

Can you suggest sites where I can post piano videos which contain links to purchase
transcriptions, compositions and/or audio CDs? I want to avoid posting inappropriate stuff on this site. Thank you.
