My two year Kawai baby grand (5') was tuned on July 13. On July 28, I noticed a very annoying vibration which seems to be coming from the inside of the piano (copper wires?) when playing notes in the second and third octaves. Nothing is in the piano, and I moved all the items near or on the piano, and the vibration remains. Any ideas?

Vibration that you feel or that you hear?

I hear it. The piano does sound in tune, and I have used this tuner before. It might be more accurate to describe it as a buzz.

It is not necessarily in the piano. Sympathetic vibrations are hard to pin down.

If your piano has a lock in the cornice, (the case part just behind the fallboard when it is open); try pushing lightly down on it when you play the note that produces the buzz.

I know exactly what this is.

Your tuner probably bent a damper over with a mute perhaps. and now when a bass string vibrates it just touches the damper wire. You can check by playing a note and very gently push on a damper head sideways and see if it touches the vibrating string.
