synths can be converted to live instruments?




Should we just accept that the 22 synths out of the millions of synths can behave exactly like live instruments?

Should we not except synthesizers anymore and just use the synths that can be used as live instruments?

What difference does it make?

My favourite way to play synths differs very much from anything I'd want to do in front of an audience.

If you want to play with patch cables and have your synth setup look like something from CERN, then do that.

If you want to play a synth with an interface more suitable for live use, then do that.
