I'm English, and hence awkward and reserved. Can we not have a group firm handshake whilst suppressing our emotions instead?

This is as good a place as any to say goodbye to everyone, so "goodbye everyone!"

Why is Frank Sinatra's "I did it my way", ringing in my ears? Darned, if I know. confused

It does remind me of goodbys, swan songs, and returns after the golden years. It seemed we always had all of this, in addition to the fact that everyone had to do it their/my way. Sadly, it wasn't Frank's way and I have respect for that.

I hope the magic that was the Coffee World of PianoWorld, with be recreated in other forums elsewhere, where ever that might be, where kindred musical spirits, and kinder spirits, and spirited conversation takes place. :t:

Editing. How could I forget "Carp"?

"Time Has Come Today" - The Chambers Brothers

Time has come today
Young hearts can go their way
Can't put it off another day
I don't care what others say
They say we don't listen anyway
Time has come today
(Hey)

Oh
The rules have changed today (Hey)
I have no place to stay (Hey)
I'm thinking about the subway (Hey)
My love has flown away (Hey)
My tears have come and gone (Hey)
Oh my Lord, I have to roam (Hey)
I have no home (Hey)
I have no home (Hey)

Now the time has come (Time)
There's no place to run (Time)
I might get burned up by the sun (Time)
But I had my fun (Time)
I've been loved and put aside (Time)
I've been crushed by the tumbling tide (Time)
And my soul has been psychedelicized (Time)

(Time)
Now the time has come (Time)
There are things to realize (Time)
Time has come today (Time)
Time has come today (Time)

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going. - Beverly Sills

Hold your ground, hold your ground. Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers. I see in your eyes the same fear that will take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails. When we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields and when the age of me comes crashing down, but it is not this day. This day we fight. For all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you, stand Men of the West.

Take your éored down the left flag. Gamling, follow the King's banner down the center. Grimbold, take your company right, after you pass the wall. Forth. Down fear of darkness. Arise. Arise, Riders of Théoden. Spears shall be shaken, shields shall be splintered. A sore day... a red day... ere the sun rises.
What ever happens, stay with me. I'll look after you.
Ride now... Ride now... Ride. Ride for ruin and the world's ending.
