Fair question. Actually it started out as a plain post about what people are being told, and incredulous as it may seem to a sane person, even believe. Then after reviewing it later, I realized it sounds exactly like the bovine scat kathy always writes, so I added the (not authored by kathyk) to make sure there was no confusion.

Admit it, had I not written the disclaimer you would have thought it could have been one of her diatribes.

The good angel on my right shoulder won over, but not until you had seen the original left shoulder post apparently. laugh I'm sure the point was not lost on you. (Love the poster, hate the post, for the rest of you). It was in jest, Matt.

(And frankly Matt, the stuff you PMed me about last week was eek eek eek and I guarantee you is not common knowledge, at least for me and the people I know.)

No, he wasn't. Apparently you don't understand the reference, which was all he was replying to. No big deal.

But what I am curious about is what parts of this story you do, or don't, give credence to. You're strangely silent when you get pinned down.

And there is Larry, rallying right behind, ratcheting up the name calling antics and hooting and hollering. After his debacle thread denigrating Kerry (And why? He lost for Pete's sake) with bald faced lies about a non-existent senate resolution - fraudulently typing in names of supposed sponsors, and being caught with his pants down. Geez, you'd think he'd show a tad of humility. Oh, but oh, I forgot, it was all part of his design. Right!

Excuse me. There was no "bald faced lie". Wake up and pay attention. The resolution is real, and Kerry and Kennedy sponsored it.

www.senate.gov

Click on "resolutions".

I decided to test the waters here again.

Something I thought took a lot of guts too, considering how you basically told every single person here you didn't need them, could care less about them, and gave told everyone here to go to heck.

And for your information, I was laughing at Gryphon's prayer about pygmies.

Never, ever take on gryphon in a fact finding mission. He can find stuff, that I never can, and always wish I could.

(And that crack about pygmies is costing me, after all the coffee I spewed over most of my paperwork.... laugh )

Sorry, but THIS is the original source. Nice site, full of conspiracy theories about anything involving the President.

Frankly, I'm disappointed that the original poster of this article was unwilling to post the source. Those of us with our own minds like to consider the source of any message before lending it credence or not. Thank you for the disservice in the playing of the baiting game.

If you needed a source to help you decide whether that story was credible or not, then you must not have a mind at all.

Yep, a good adjective to describe me would be brainless.

Yep, I prefer to establish credibility as whatever "feels right" to me. It's much easier that way. Faster, too. wink

By the way, posting the official text of the resolution for the third time... here is the senate link:

Senate link for concurrent resolution

Still no mention of Kerry, Kennedy as typed into the original post.

This is still that same House Resolution. No Senator's names are are likely to be found there.

Bravo! That's exactly right. And precisely the one that Larry posted in the other thread (and typed Kerry's and Kennedy's names atop of). THERE IS NO SENATE RESOLUTION. Why else do you suppose that neither Larry or Grphyon with their killer sleuthing/fact-finding skills haven't been able to post a link to it.

But, shoot, you say it enough times and it WILL eventually be true. Works for Karl Rove and Bush, why shouldn't it work for them.

BTW, you might want to check the link to understand what a concurrent resolution means. It doesn't require sponsorship in both houses; rather passage in both houses.

And Larry, you're right, I don't *need* this forum or anybody on it, with the exception of one particular JF. That doesn't discount the fondness I've grown for many of its members.
