Hello,
Does anybody know where I can find the following transcriptions for piano?

1. Largo from concerto in F minor, BWV 1056 (Cortot's transcription)

2. Sheep May Safely Graze from Birthday, BWV 208

I couldn't find them in music store or on the Internet. frown
Thanks,
TC

Tony, here's site with 7 different transcriptions of the Sheep Grazing thing.

You'll have to register, but it's real simple and no hassle.

I prefer the Petri transcription, but if I could play the Percy Grainger version I would sure like to try it.

AbeEspinosa has a site with TONS of downloadable scores, but I don't have .... well hang onasecond

He has quite a bit of Bach, though I don't know if has what you were looking for.

I just got a hold of some Feinberg transcriptions which were just sent out to me from Germany last week. I really like his transcriptions though none of them are what you listed. But it is sooo hard to find Feinberg's sheet music! This is really a rare thing that I'm receiving.

All the Feinberg Sonatas are available on the first page of:

If you do a seqarch on Feiberg at this site, you will probably find many more of his works including his transcriptions.

There are many of his transcriptions here:

The Bach Largo is particularly beautiful and has been recorded by Volodos on his debut album.

You can get them from Universal Edition. They don't sell them in their catalogue, but they can make you a special copy.
