I rushed through these to hear what they sounded like before I went to audition with them. My piano has a lot of broken keys (lower d# sharp hardly ever works) and lots of hammers strike 2 snares. I recorded these with a tape recorder that hardly hears dynamics and basses, so it sounds really harsh, and there's a lot of noise. People who don't like bad quality recs, don't listen wink .

Bach/Busoni - 3rd Chorale in g
Chopin - Black Key etude
Rachmaninoff - Preludes Op. 32 No 5 and 12
Scriabin - Etude Op. 8 No. 12

It wasn't really an audition, I just had to play for my hopefully to be teacher, so that he could decide whether or not he wanted me as a student.

Oh Anima good luck to you then!
I listened to 2 already... the quality really doenst do justice to your playing. I cant really hear the dynamics, its abit noisy behind so it makes it sound its a bit messy. But i tried to listen in... you're definitely a very good player. The chopin etude might have been a bit heavy on the pedal towards the end.. but overall its quite light and nice! (do becareful of the trips!) I love your choice of dynamics here. Nice rubato, too! How long did it take for you to master this? You must have worked hard on it.
The bach/busonic is very agreeable with me. I liked that.
I just finished listening to rach, and you really have some good preparations there.
no. 5 is very nicely done... 12 sounded to me abit choppy and the accompaniment part just a tad too loud. I would like to hear it abit more smooth, but really, who am i to say?
Scriabin etude- again, the quality of the recording doesnt do justice to your playing. I can tell its a good work, though. Cant really comment on much, but i can tell you put quite abit of emotion into this one. (is it me, or did you rush abit in the middle part?)

You have some good works there! Thank you for sharing this. i really hope you get to study under him! GOOD LUCK!
p.s: do you major in music?

I can't really record in any better quality, but thanks. My piano is put on tiles, just a tiny bit of pedal makes it sound like there's too much, but I did have some dirty pedals in the Chopin. This one too me quite a long time, about 1 1/2 months before I finished it, and another 3 months before I was satisfied with it.
I'm not glad with the 12th prelude at all, and you're right about what you said.
I completely rushed the Scriabin, you can already here in the beginning that there is hardly and "Patetico" in it anyway.

Thanks for the comments, and about the good luck, it was yesterday, and I played extremely sloppily, but I've been accepted as a student for next schoolyear smile .

And I'm still in highschool, this is my last year.
