I picked up a very nice deal on a Kawai CA98 on Friday. It sounds great and I can't keep my 10 year old off of it (not that I would try). It's kind of nice that I can also use it as a 100W Bluetooth speaker.

I like it enough that I can REALLY take my time looking (and saving) for my dream acoustic.

Now I need to sell the KDP-120 I bought a few months ago.

If you want to sell something on here buy an ad

Congrats mivaldes!

The CA98 is a very nice upgrade from your KDP120.

Kind regards,
James

Strange. In my original post above, I don't think I wrote "If you want to sell something on here buy an ad".

Can a mod add something to a post? I wasn't trying to sell anything here at all, just making a remark.

Never mind. I see now that someone did edit the post.

I wasn't trying to offer something to sell. Just an offhand remark.

Wow... This is way out of line... A mod of the forum added a comment to someone else's post WITHOUT WARNING??? If it wasn't for the OP comment I would have never figured that the last sentence wasn't written by him. This is a big no-no in the mods activities.

Yeah, mod edits without specific care taken to highlight what part the mod changed is a big no-no...

An apology and an explanation is the minimum the mod should give

OK, thanks, I certainly don't want to run against the rules here. It truly was just an offhand remark. I enjoy these forums far too much to lose the ability to post!!

It was construed as an indirect advert. Someone on here, semi-local to Marcus might've offered . . . smile
I'm gonna tell no-one about this Pete Reganni guy who writes rubbish fiction on Amazon Kindle . . .

It was a bit curt, I agree. but I guess at least the mod left the "modified by" message:

"Last edited by Ken Knapp; 06/26/22 12:58 PM."

My guess is that someone who read the message took offense, and reported it. Because the mods don't normally read these threads--I think they're fairly hands off about the digital piano forum generally, which I'm personally thankful of wink

Why do I think it was a report? Because someone not two days ago posted what amounts to a personal classified for his MP11SE in another top-of-the-fold thread here. And that post is still up. Neither bothered me, it's not like some boards where all the content gets overrun by classifieds without enforcement of specific rules.

Thanks Gombessa for your thoughts!

Honestly I wouldn't advertise that here anyways. I would only sell it locally. I really was just saying that as I had just bought it a few months ago and came across this excellent deal! I'm loving the CA98. It is a fine instrument. My 10 year old daughter told me today, "Daddy, don't ever sell it."

She knows me too well haha!
