I’d like to share some of my original pieces here from time to time. They are mostly short and tonal but not tonal in the popular sense. This one is also modal.

Very intriguing. It actually reminded me a little of the klezmer pieces you posted earlier, perhaps because they are modal also (although I'm not sure they were). Does the third klezmer piece you posted use one of the synagogue modes or just an ordinary minor mode?

Thank you for your compliment and question. Not being an expert on modes or synagogue modes, I cannot say. After I wrote the Mode Piece I looked up the note sequence and found that it happens to fall under a mode known as Heptatonic, but it wasn't my intention, though it does fit that category.
