The music is nice, but why do you call it a prelude? It's more like a song.

I would like to share a recording that someone made of this piece, i wasn't expecting anyone to actually play it but he sent me a link to his recording, he played it much better than i did.
Link for new recording.

@ probably Blue, here is the sheet music, would love to hear a recording of it if you ever play it smile

@mydp, thanks for always leaving positive comments on pieces!

@Rowy, I called it a prelude simply because i didn't have a better name and because its a short and simple piece.

@ Kalos Piano, thanks!

Thanks!
Although I do not always leave comments ;-)
I usually like a nice and effective melody, like yours. And I of course don’t mind making it public (although, if you don’t mind, I would have liked a small contrasting section -in c# minor maybe?- in the middle of it. But that’s me, and that would make the piece slightly different).

"Song without words" would be a nice title.

I really like what you created too nightshade. I sat down for a bit to tinker with the front portion, and I added the first parts of your tune (or mostly the first parts) at the very end from this set of snippets. The mood of your original tune is very nice. LINK

Update - I have to fix up something in the notes for the tail end of my file. It didn't come out quite right after listening to it. Will sort it tonight!

That was beautiful SouthPark, though I really liked hearing the single melodic line at the end in the first recording 🤣.

Hahaha!!! Thanks NS! Me too!!! The single melodic line at the end of the first recording is beautiful! As it has 'AAE' dna!
