We saw the below last night in LA. It was quite a performance. They describe it as "Bach’s tour de force in the hands of the world’s most celebrated pianist". Well, Lang Lang play for about 90 minutes straight. It was pretty incredible. Some say he is too flashy, but it wasn't the case at all last night. I thought he was fantastic.

SCHUMANN - Arabesque in C major, Op. 18
BACH - Goldberg Variations, BWV 988
Encore: Chinese Folk Song - Jasmine Flower

It was nice to be back at the concert hall. The last time we were there was in Feb 2020 to see Yuja Wang play. I remember then that it seemed like everyone in the audience was hacking and coughing. Last night it was dead silent. Maybe the masks work, haha!

We opted for a cheaper ticket this time, Terrace View. It wasn't bad at all. Some say every seat here is a good seat - you can't go wrong!
