So today I went to check out a Kawai Piano dealer in NJ. My intention was to look at their (limited) digital inventory and see about getting on a waitlist for the ES920 or something. I don't know quite what I was looking for I kinda had resigned myself to waiting until next year maybe buying something. I had been looking for a while and while I had taken a look at some upright pianos the maintenance my lack of space and the way I have baseboard oil heat just everywhere kept me turned off to that route and just stick with digital until I move. Well got looking between a K200 and a K-15 and while I really liked the K200 a lot I wasn't quite sure what all those upgrades they were telling me it had would get me. Plus it was used and at the very top of my potential budget with about 3 years left on the warranty. The K-15 they were able to do a good price to include a follow-up tuning (Tuning before delivery+tuning 2-3 months after delivery), free delivery (1st floor no steps) and trade-in value if I want to upgrade down the road (which I kinda want to I would LOVE to get a baby grand Kawai when I move and have space for one)...so I bought a K-15 lol it sounded (To my ears) as nice as the K200 did and I liked the action the same between the both of them. It lacked a soft-fall fall board (I will see if this becomes a decision I eventually regret) but I am excited to be getting a real acoustic piano from my digital piano. Not my intention when I went in but I am excited. Now I need to clear out the space I was going to put it...It is going to be a very busy next few days lol

Here it is with the sold tag on it! I like the idea I am getting the exact unit I selected.

Congrats and have fun with it!
Trust me, you’re not going to care about having a slow-close fallboard on an upright piano. Not having one also makes it easier to service.

Thanks! I spent too much time last night waffling if I made the right choice or not but I keep telling myself I actually tried all the options and I really enjoyed playing this and as near as I can tell everyone says that is all that really matters in the end laugh but I am always like that with any purchase I do lol I sit there after the fact and try and research to convince myself I made a good choice. Especially since this was not researched in advance since I had no idea I would be buying anything at all lol

I forgot to post my obligatory pictures of "Hey its here hurray!" I have had it for a few weeks still love it some weird niggling issues but it's getting resolved slowly but surely.
