I recently visited my local Kawai store and in my price range I am only interested in ES520 or CN39. They did not have an ES920 available and said that Kawai is not currently manufacturing that or the CN39 due to chip shortage. I found a CN39 somewhere else but I don't know how long it will be available for. They didn't have the ES520 on the floor either however I tried the KDP-120 with the same action and liked it. They can get the ES520 for me in 2-3 months.

I liked both how the CN29 and KDP and ES920 played. I'd just go with the KDP-120 or CN29 as they look nice with the cabinet, however I really want a line in or bluetooth audio because I like to play and sing along with rock/pop songs. I'd also like the split feature which is only available on the CN39 (not CN29) and ES520. I'd also like to have the option of more sounds/voices due to what I like to play. Currently I'm playing a non-weighted Casio keyboard and use a bluetooth speaker that I sit on top of it and I feel that I've outgrown this.

The CN39 would be about $1100 more but is my current dream piano. The ES520 should work just fine for where I'm at right now and if I upgrade later maybe I can keep it in case I do need something portable. Thoughts?

As HZPiano says so concisely above, you've already decided.

Just buy the thing while you still can and start playing it smile

I bought the CN39! Still nervous about spending that much but hopefully that will dissipate when I start playing it.

Hello,

That feeling is quite familiar to me.

Well done following through regardless!

Cheers and happy anticipation,

I just ordered the CN39 2 hours ago and will be shipped in 1, 2 days. Same feeling I'm having.

Good decision - the RH3 action and sk-ex piano tone are among my favorites - you will love it !
