Please add me to the list. Today I went to my piano lesson without much practice during the holidays. Don’t want that to happen again.. daily practice for 2022!

This will be my second time with MOYD. I loved it last year and missed only a few excused days of practice due to illness and vacations.

So please add me this year, too.

But I have already to confess that I missed the days January 1 to 7 because of a skiing vacation. First time after two years!

Thank you very much for your effort.

Had to miss 1/18 and 1/19 due to minor illness. Expect to be back on the bench tonight.

Please excuse me for 2/24-2/27. Many birthday plans over the weekend have made it unlikely for me to find time to play.

I need to be excused for March 13-16. We made a trip to visit my mother upon the occasion of her 101st birthday. We talked a little bit about piano. My mother played, and her mother played as well (and also taught some lessons).

Hello. Please excuse my absence from the bench since Tuesday of last week. Tuesday night I fell and bruised my ribs and hurt my back all at the same time. Long story. With medication and rest I feel up to returning to the bench. I would like to return tomorrow. Hopefully my back will allow it. I will report back if I don’t start on Sunday. Thanks for all you are doing!!

If any of you are reading this and haven’t joined MYOD, I’ve been wanting to say it works!!! I believe my sight-reading skills have greatly improved. It’s like immersion when learning a foreign language. Seeing the notes and translating them to music every day builds muscle memory, note fluency and recall. My goal is to be able to read any piece of music that is put in front of me at least of Level 8 on demand by the end of the year.

Please excuse my absence yesterday (April 9). That was due to us hosting the birthday celebration of our two sons turning 30. And the house (as well as the day) was really full with lovely people and urgent chores.

Hello, I learned about this thread from another member of the piano forum while looking for accountability partner. I like the idea very much, hoping this help build a habit of good daily practice and keep going smile Please add me to this thread!
