I made a video that shows the jack traveling in the window with the drop screw at different settings. I used a lot of zoom so that the jack movement can be clearly seen. A very important adjustment so the pianist feels connected to the action.
There are 3 paths the jack takes
1) forward and up
2) up and forward
3) A straight path when synchronized.

I enjoyed the video, Chris! And, yes, it was very educational, especially for someone like me who doesn't know much to begin with... smile

Also, I assume this adjustment is the same as "let-off"? I usually adjust mine to about a 16th or so of an inch or 1.5mm. But I have never actually watched the behavior of the repetition lever as closely as in your video.

Thanks for sharing the video!

Rick
