I’m looking for some fingering ideas on the right hand scale passage starting on A in measure 43.

Right now I’m trying 1-2-3-1-2-1-2 … which leads nicely to 3-5-1 in the next measure (m 44).

Please let me know your thoughts on what has worked for you.

Thank you,

Tom

On my old score, I'd marked it with 1-2-1-2-3-1-, which is as good as any. Mind you, I last played it when I was a teenager, and I'm now ancient & decrepit cry.

Your fingering seems slightly more awkward when I tried it, but if it works for you, stay with it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I like your fingering too. The reason I chose 1-2-3 to start the m 43 scale is that 1-2-3 can also be used to start the A scale an octave higher in measure 45.
