And Bach Scholar: https://www.bachscholar.com/

Of course, I am not advising that you should sign up or buy any books, just reporting that he is having a sale - make up your mind!

Piano Marvel is 20% off, an entire year is only $88.

Casio PX-S3000
Nope, no issues with it at all.
Took lessons from 1960 to 1969, stopped at age 16.
Started again in July 2020 at age 67. Lots more fun now!

Can I combine it with the 25% off I got from Josh Wright? Probably not.

Thanks all for the many great suggestion.

This year, I'll give Pianote a go with their yearly sub. I'm particularly interested in their unlimited performance review. That alone is a great value. The competition whom do performance review have limits. I'm not kidding myself that Pianote really do unlimited performance review, but I don't want to "feel" limited. And they seems to have great video production.

I'll probably invest in my local school too and try to go even harder in this beautiful journey with a 1-1 teacher. I've never been more motivated !!! My goal, play beautiful anime/gaming piano pieces. They are often the hardest ones too. I want to one day play the beautiful Michiru Yamane repertoire of insanely intricate baroque compositions. Or Christopher Larkin's magnificient compositions. One day !

Open Studio are 60% off.

https://www.openstudiojazz.com/

I used them for a while, but dropped out after I finally found a real live piano teacher. I'm tempted to rejoin and work through some of their courses.

I'd be a far better pianist if I spent the time I'm on this forum playing my piano instead.

Rick Beato has I think it was 50% off all his teaching materials. This is music theory in general though, not piano specific.

Slightly disappointed that their much announced biggest ever offer is only 20% off - better than nothing though I guess.

Thank you all for your recommendations. Much appreciated.

I'll preface this message by saying I'm in no way affiliated with Pianote. I paid in full for my subscription. Also I feel my opinion has some worth as I already tried a couple of somewhat similar plateforms, like playground sessions (lifetime member), piano marvel, and skoove. Not saying any of them are bad. Just that I can see the value in this year commitment.

In the end, I went with Pianote. For a couple of great reasons.
First, they offer unlimited piano performance reviews. Meaning they will actually listen and look at your video performances and do video reviews with pointers at how to improve. You can even write your goals for a particular performance and they will focus on the things you struggle the most or wish to improve. This alone is an impressive value.
The main teacher is viciously positive and charismatic. She is also a great singer and include background vocals for songs.
The teaching is quite different and enjoyable. She teaches by chord progression charts and I find that very refreshing. It is quite different than a classical approach. Also, the quality of the lessons are stellar, both in content and in visual quality. Oh and a nice touch was the introduction of pedalling very early. With a visual representation of pedal depressing.
The community is very active on forums and in the comment section of each lessons.

Last but definitly not least, they are a Canadian company and they support piano teaching in schools which is very awesome !

Just wanted to come back and do a quick review of my choice for this year and the reasons why I chose Pianote.

Cheers and happy learning !
