Sad to hear that. Blossom Dearie would famously sing My Attorney Bernie, and Blizzard of Lies is really good. There is a lot of wit and sophistication in his songs.

I see you're from Oakland. Is that Oakland, CA? I lived in Berkeley (we called it Berzerkeley) for a short time back in the mid 70's.
I heard Frishberg from time to time; but his name for me is firmly associated with the album The You and Me That Used to Be, which caused repeated smiles.
Embarrassed to admit I'd never heard of the guy. Just heard a Fresh Air broadcast of past interviews of him. Loved everything I heard. Podcast either posted already or will be soon.
