I think the legs are interesting but quite ugly. Given the make isn't mentioned, it's probably not a top maker so I think the piano's value is probably $0. The ad says the piano's condition if "fair" which is hysterical.

The ad says the piano's condition if "fair" which is hysterical. I expect the value is less than $0 considering the person selling will probably end up having to pay someone to haul it away. This is definitely being sold by someone who has no knowledge of pianos and thinks that as long as the keys depress and a noise is produced, it's in good working condition.

It does not look like a player. Cathedral legs were used on straight pianos.

I'm surprised that it doesn't say that it just needs to be tuned.

It has been in a fire. I can "smell" it from here. To the dump it goes but you might as well grab the shift lever before it goes.

Yes but sad ! 😥 Those legs cause me to think of mid 19th century.Regarding its brand status, we just do not know.In its day that piano was no doubt revered by many.
My piano's voice is my voice to God and the great unknown universe, and to those I love.In other words a hymn. That is all, but that is enough.Life goes on, despite pain and fear.Music is beautiful, life is beautiful.

I love the description - “works great” … well that’s all I need to know! No need for interior pics - works great. ;-O definitely $500 overpriced. Reminds me of my youth working as the house pianist/musical director in a famous resort hotel with a 1950s Steinway; in great need of regulation, hammer and soundboard work, and probably re-stringing. I complained for months - one day with great pride the stage manager called me to the theatre to proclaim they had fixed the piano finally! Yay! …. They had painted it. … Badly. Ugh!

Many manufacturers put multiple legs on cheap baby grands. Six-legged ones are common, seems this is a nine-legged one. The Starr concert grand at the Reid Memorial Church has twelve legs, so a multiplicity of them doesn't have to mean "cheap". But baby grands, yes, they don't need the additional support to keep them off the floor.

The only thing anyone could possibly do would be to essentially gut it, repaint it, then stick a digital keyboard and speakers in it. It does need way too much cleaning for me to give it a second chance at something useful but I do know some craftspeople.
There is a point of no redemption for old pianos.

I like the hardwood flooring. Agree. The flooring is probably the best part.
