And yet, so far.

Every year, I always look for a piano calendar and although there are often music-themed calendars, I had never found one that was just devoted to pianos until this year, there are actually a few that come up on Amazon.

But this one, which is where the photo above is from, as you can see, includes this photo, obviously taken by someone who does not know how to open the lid of a piano.... And it doesn't show the rest of the photos, so who knows what they look like. So I decided not to purchase it.

Then I found this piano calendar on Amazon, which includes a lot of dilapidated uprights, not my aesthetic of choice....

Maybe 2023 will have better options... sigh.

Well, I suppose a calendar with a white grand piano with an improper lid prop position is better than nothing! smile

Maybe this is an idea that Frank Baxter could use to add a nice "Piano or Piano World Calendar" to his online store inventory, if he doesn't already have one.

I'm thinking that, although paper calendars are becoming a little obsolete these days, I, for one, still like a paper calendar each year.

My late wife was a big fan of "Charlie Brown" as was her sister, and her sister would give her a "Peanuts", AKA "Charlie Brown" calendar each year, with different animated scenes of all the "Peanuts" cartoon characters for each month.

I remember last year, whenever I'd go to the local feed store, or my Bank, I'd ask for a paper calendar, and they were all out of them. So, I printed off my own on my computer and printer... again, better than nothing. smile

A piano calendar might be a cool project. And not terribly difficult for someone who's around pianos a lot and has decent computer skills.

Rickster and Retsacnal, the do-it-yourself approach may be my only option.

That or do what I do most other years -- get a non-piano calendar. :P
