So, fellow hoarders, who's holding out for what as we move into Turkey month?

Is there anything I *need*? Of course not. But has that ever stopped me before? Of course not.

I'm full up with concert grand VIs, but could be tempted by a great deal on something that's not Steinway/Bosendorfer/Yamaha. I'd also love an upright that has the character of the Hume from the Ivory package.

Anyone else eyeing/waiting for particular deals?

I'm waiting to see if Arturia has a deal on its V Collection of keyboard synths, pianos, organs, and the lot. The V Collection 8 currently goes for about $600. We'll see what, if anything, happens.

As with you, this has nothing to do with needs and all to do with wants.

Did you get in on the IK groupbuy Pete? I don't know much about the Arturia range but people seemed to be weighing whether or not they needed Syntronik if they already had Arturia.

Craig, I'm not sure what you mean by "groupby", nor what you mean by "Syntronik". What does that product have to do with my post? Thank you for any clarification.

IK Multimedia have been running a group buy which reached buy 1 get 24 products free; Syntronik is their synth package which seemed to overlap with some of what you mentioned the Arturia bundle covering (not to mention that IK's Hammond is fantastic, but I'm not sure what sort of organ coverage there is in the Arturia bundle).

Was just wondering if there were some things in that bundle you'd got covered in other bargainous ways!

Hello,

I was about to start a thread like this but somehow put it off 🙂.

I was secretly hoping for a substantially discounted Blüthner 1895 from VSL. But I also said to myself to only purchase any VSL title if their migration to iLok is a fact. And as it seems, that is not where they are yet.

Cheers and happy dreaming of wonderful deals,

HZ

I'm also a fan of the 1914 Hume Upright from Ivory. Probably my favourite piano of all the Synthogy Ivory range, including the grands. There is a new multi-mic vintage Swedish upright piano coming soon (I hope!!) by a developer called Anders from KeyPleezer. He ran a funding campaign earlier this year, and I "bought in" at the full version level:

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/livingroom-upright-virtual-vintage-piano-clone#/

Its release date is about 4 months behind schedule, so I'm a little concerned about it coming to fruition.

I am waiting also for some VSL offers. I have no problems with eLicensers though, so a good offer will get my cash grin

BTW, I bought a list priced 299,99€ (bought for lots less but it is the list price what counts laugh ) IK Multimedia keyboard to get into the 24 free software items, so I will get mostly of the IK offerings thumb

So far, so good.

Have fun with your IK hoarding!

Yes, I am also thinking whether I am not too strict and should buy their dongle and get over it. It is the 'dongle damaged/licenses gone' policy that I rather dislike, though.

Oh well.

Cheers and happy hoarding,

HZ

Where do you see that. I've been to the web-site several times:

V Collection 8

And it's always stated US $599 without a discount:

I guess that is for each of the four modules which make up the bundle. I have them all and the good thing is that they don't require lots of resources. Otherwise, they are useable but not spectacular, IMHO

Fluffy Scoring Piano https://www.fluffyaudio.com/shop/scoringpiano/
On sale for $54. Needs Kontakt.

A lovely Steinway B full of warmth and some deliciously realistic imperfections. Very different sounding from all the Yamaha studio piano samples.

Adult beginner. Roland FP90X, Embertone Walker vst, etc.
