Yes, everyone was masked. We had our HVAC system providing constant airflow, and the recital of 20 players (or so) was broken up into smaller groups so people would have space.

It was so much fun to have this service to the musical community come alive again in person. I had forgotten how inspiring these recitals could be, especially when they involve young people who are excited about piano and music.

Here are a couple of photos, just for fun:

I like the big picture of the concert hall.

Isn't that cool? I have actually had people look at "up close" photos of people at the piano and assume they were in a beautiful historic concert hall.

Now, extra credit to whoever can be the first to tell me which concert hall is featured in the photo. wink

I like the concert hall photo too - I want one of those! Of course, then I would probably get stage fright in my own living room.... whome

It is nice to see things looking a little more normal, thanks for posting, Rich!

Nice backdrop! This must definitely be the «Wiener Konzerthaus», which was opened back in 1913.

Congratulations Skjalg I am sure it will be worth the cost of the air fare and hotel accommodation. 😃 Congratulations to Cunningham for giving kids a chance to perform again!

Here in this article, we’ll try to list out some amazing experiment methods to bridge the concept of playing piano along with a crisp of jazz modes.

It isn’t a big deal to break down any scale into modes. If you are a beginner, then starting with the modes of the major scale can help you explore a wider range of jazz elements. These modes are comparatively easier to understand. Along with this, they also provide a good foundation for further exploration. Thus, we will try to focus this area more.
