I have composed this one movement sonata a while ago, but wanted to share it with you guys and hear your feedback.

I wanted to post a recording of myself playing it but this is unfortunately one of my compositions that i can't play up to speed, as some of the left hand runs are quite tricky to play. i was thinking that changing the key might make it more comfortable for the hands but im not sure if that will help.

Link to Score.

I hope you enjoy it.

Nice Scarlatti-esque piece!
I did like it, although I must say I liked it better at 90% of the written speed (even 80%!). I found 160 bpm too fast (of course you don’t have to agree).

Hey, thanks for listening and for your kind comment!
I actually agree, the written tempo is in fact too fast and i will change that smile

It's quite nice. About the tempo thing -- it can work at that tempo imo in the hands of a good pianist. There would need to be more phrasing and slight rubato especially so that phrases don't end abruptly.

Not too bad. Very bright and gay. Work on making it more musical and expressive with performance cues or maybe slowing down the tempo. .

It's nice, but set the tempo at 80 %. It's way too fast now.

This piece contains some rather interesting and appropriate gesture. The overall form is right as well.

From an artistic point of view, it is bright and musical. Well done.

If you want to perfect it even more, you might want to look at some unprepared dissonance and also try to make the voice leading smoother in the harmonic parts.
