It’s between this and what’s available used acoustic under 3K in a very limited area. Beginner 10 year old student. Only a Summer of lessons under his belt.

I didn’t do the research to come up with this choice. My sister did and wants my opinion.

I know very little about digital pianos. Only know that she’s not going to have great acoustic choices under 3K used in a small market.

Thoughts?

You might actually be able to find a decent upright for $3000.

And some people get lucky and get one for far less than that.

Piano owners are often keen to rid themselves of their pianos, and when they consistently fail to sell at a seemingly reasonable price they offer them for cheap (or even for free).

Either way ... be sure to have a used piano evaluated by a professional piano technician.
