As of Saturday, SiFi was playing in the semi-finals but there has been nothing posted on the WIPAC website. Any news??

CONGRATS SiFi— we hope the competition was successful for you! Great to see you were playing in the semi-finals 🎉👏👏👏

Would you mind sharing the link? WIpAC. org has no results posted

If you look here: https://www.wipac.org/competition.html

in a column down the left side of the screen there are results.

That’s where I looked and I see 2021 TBA and the actual results for 2019

The link should work (it did for me). The original posted results were incorrect, if you can believe it, but I see they’ve now been corrected.

This was the fourth time I’ve competed in this competition and the first time I’ve failed to reach the finals. So a bit disappointing, in spite of the prize money I got for the special awards. I was also quite surprised that I didn’t advance, given the semifinal performances of a couple of the people who did get through. However, I blame myself for a fairly egregious programming error: inserting Chopin’s Op. 10 No. 4 in the middle of my semifinal set. I didn’t play it very well and the jurors, as I discovered later, were mercilessly unforgiving of what they saw as a terrible mistake. I suppose when you elect to play one of the most difficult Chopin etudes in a competition you’re setting yourself up for a fall!

Very strange: the 2021 displays as TBA on my cellphone, but the actual awards display on my laptop.
Life is a puzzle, some days
