You meant G#4 and A4, correct? I can hear the noise. It sounds like plastic scraping/sticking. To be honest, some of the keys on my ES8 make similar noises I think.

Edit: Does it make the noise with headphones connected? Does the noise come from the keys themselves or the speakers/headphones?

I definitely hear some vibration/buzzing resonance, most prominent with G# but also A and F# to lesser degree.

What is the surrounding space/environment the 110 is in during the a/v recording - small room, large room, on a table, stand, up against a wall, other pertinent environment factors?

Have you already tried moving to a different space or room to see how this affects what you are hearing?

It is up against a wall right now in a medium sized room on a z-stand. I have moved it to other spaces, but it's always the same keys.

The plastic scratching is fine. I was more concerned with the vibration. This noise is not present with headphones. It seems to be coming from the left speaker.

I suggest you try the following, one at a time, then answer the same question after each - does the same problem occur through left speaker? This should help you determine if you have a defect needing repaired or instead caused by the surroundings.

- set the volume to approx 50-75 percent
- try each piano voice one at a time
- turn off reverb
- set voicing type to normal
- turn off brilliance
- set touch type to normal
- try the EPs and Organs
- try adjusting tuning to a little above or below 440 Hz
- try the demo songs, granted these are midi recordings and do not actually exercise the key action but may help further pinpoint a speaker problem.

I hope that one or more of the first few tests on the above list helps you identify the problem is not a defect but mores so due to surroundings..... but if you try the entire list and hear the same problem, you may have a defect to be repaired.

I watched the clip a few times with my headphones (inexpensive AKG K-240).

I'm do not hear anything problematic with that sound. However, the usual caveats apply: I'm not in the same room as your ES110 and I do not have your ears.

If this is a concern for you, my recommendation would be to visit your Kawai dealer to check their floor ES110 so see if you're able to hear the same issue.

Kind regards,
James
