I put together some Python code to screen scrape the recital pages. Below is a link to a spreadsheet with all of the performances, links to mp3, youtube if available, etc. Let me know if this is useful and/or if you want other stuff added in.

I found the old indexes very useful for screening VSTs before purchasing. It was always nice to hear how VSts sounded in the hands of amateurs, as, the recordings used by the VST marketing departments always presented the risk that the music was doctored and colored to make it sound better than what the consumer could get out of the program. So, a column for VST would be nice.

It's nowhere near complete as I got these from filtering for specific composers. I'm sure I missed some that should be on this list.

BCC, do you want a snapshot of the database? You wouldn't have to grab things from a screen...

That would certainly be easier, I wouldn't have to hammer the server with so many page requests 😁 I did this as technical exercise, something for fun. Like an etude.

I just noticed there is two mp3 missing files in recital #5, Rondo in C WoO 48 from craig137Craig and Overcome from Ishmael, if you can upload the file to the server or if Sam can do it, it's available in one of my old backup. I used to download the recital in zip format. Just let me know and I will send the files by email.

ABF Recital Index and click on <Download Recital Snapshot>

After each new recital I will create a new one. Hopefully I can remember. Let me know if there are any problems.
