I'm hoping to see:

Roland - a new LX series, perhaps with sampled audio instead of - or in addition to - modelled audio?
Yamaha - new P-135 and P-615
Kawai - anything, they're all good... perhaps an MP12 with GFIII?

And here I took your bait; shame on you for playing me like this. I was giddy with excitement when I clicked on what I now know was a bait and not an inside scoop on the upcoming Yamaha/BallsandDorfer hybrid.

But since you’re asking for a ‘real rumor’, here it goes: brand new hybrid from Yamaha coming soon!

A reliable source tells me that Kawai Aures 2 models (at least K500) are imminent, with dealers taking delivery from July/August.

Maybe someone here (Kawai James?) can share some more details? Assumably the update will contain the digital parts from the CA99/CA79 line.

I‘m hoping to see the new Kawai and/or Roland stage piano.. The flagship one successor..

I don't attend NAMM. So I have no wishes at all.

For me, It's not about attending. I have never attended or will attend NAMM simply because I live on a different continent. But I always hope that something interesting will be presented at NAMM. Therefore, the wishes in this case are quite appropriate.

OK then ...
I wish for lower prices.
I wish for a digital piano that sounds as good as the finest concert grand (or even as good as a mediocre conservatory grand).
I wish for pianos to be available without a year-long wait.

I only wish I could attend a NAMM…I would be like a kid in a candy store. Look forward to new developments in the hybrid piano,,,but it will be offered a delicious chocolate croissant when you are on a vegan diet 🤣

I think I'd rather "attend" my local piano shop. From what I gather, at NAMM the noise level is high. Playing a piano would be difficult.

The model I expected the most was the Yamaha N1X… it has been released a while ago, then I will not expect anything for a while (AvantGrand are not updated frequently). And then, I don’t think I will exchange my N1X for a better one.

Prediction; Steinway partners with Renner, Yamaha, Pianoteq, Klipsch, and Apple to make a full line of full size concert Bs and Ds along with a consumer micro grand and console piano by 2025. The pianos will be comparable in price to the acoustic line.

I wouldn't get too excited over any rumors. Even true rumors will be meaningless because new models ordinarily don't show up for months after announcement.

But it's worse these days. They can't even deliver current models. So new models might not show up until next year's NAMM.

For pianos, this year's NAMM might be moot.
