I need to move a Clavinova CLP-380 across town. Is it recommended to use a piano moving company or will any reputable licensed mover be sufficient? Ground floor move on both ends, if that matters.

In order of my preference: 1) piano mover, 2) general reputed mover.

Piano movers have the necessary equipment always on hand, they understand the passions, nuances and the job better (also easier to describe the piano/job to them.) Any general reputed movers will also do the job just fine but go to the only if it's convenient to you all things considered.

A man must love a thing very much if he practices it without any hope of fame or money, but even practice it without any hope of doing it well. Such a man must love the toils of the work more than any other man can love the rewards of it.
