Thanks- I didn't realise the same keybed was used on such high end stuff!
Probably going to stick with the Yamaha P121. I don't actually need to go ahead and buy it until my baby grand goes in to storage so I'm holding off a few more weeks.

Just to let you know, I am also considering buying a P121 as a relatively lightweight and smaller piano, which I had the opportunity to almost casually briefly testing one and a half year ago in some shop, and I was pleased with it and how small it looked.
To be clear, I did not have much experience with the newer DPs back then, since I was only playing on a P90, they felt similar to me.

Any news about the P-121 in Europe? It seems to be out of stock for weeks wherever I check (even asked a notorius German shop).

Update:
P121 arrived yesterday, about a week after ordering. I was half way through dismantling my baby grand so pretty good timing.

First impressions- I really really like it. It's quite a light action, not hard work at all. Feels quite similar to the YDP-131 I previously owned, but with what sounds like better samples and possibly a more refined velocity curve which makes for a better dynamic range. It's hard to know how much is in my head and how much was a result of the YDP being fifteen years old and fairly well used.

I barely notice the missing notes at all. One extra (a low Eb) would be nice occasionally. I think for the playing I do I might make use of the octave shift function, as I'm more likely to want extra notes at the lower end.

Physically it is very deep, so quite chunky. If you sit it on a table, it's too high to comfortably play when sat down. It's actually a very good height for me to play standing up. The keys are a little of slippery side, but maybe that's just the newness of them.

Thanks for that report Bob, I'm also about to order one so glad to hear you are liking it so far. One thing that confused me about the P121 was the specs. Some sites say "Midi Connection: No" but I've come across YouTube videos of the P121/125 with both USB Midi and USB Audio being used which is a nice bonus for a relatively cheap keyboard. This means you can USB connect to an iPad/iPhone/Computer and play VSTi's and app pianos with just a single cord and utilize the the P121 speakers. Pretty nifty. Or could it be that this feature is disabled in some countries??

Whether that is correct or not depends on context. It does not have MIDI jacks. But it can do MIDI over USB.

Thanks - that makes sense. They should update the Specs to say Midi Connection: USB (In/Out). Digital Audio: USB (In/Out)

I've had both. I went with the ES110
