I wonder if they'll know what 'tone' means, LOL.

....it says "used - like new." crazy

I've been house shopping for awhile, and I've seen quite a few listings where they couldn't even be bothered to pick up their dirty laundry (among other things) before they snapped photos. Of course it doesn't really matter in this market...they'll still sell for over asking!

Didn't you know? All used pianos come in one of two conditions..."like new" or "just needs tuning".

Oh dear....

Also, the "used - like new"??? Ugh. At least there are photos so any buyer can't say they didn't know what they were getting into!

Don’t forget, “triple mint condition”!
(the lilburn effect, perhaps?)

This one probably "just needs vacuuming [to remove cat hair*]" and then it will be 'like new'!

*disclaimer: I love cats. But not on or in my piano.

That's just acoustic treatment to temper the sonorous roar! wink

The seller's communique is ambiguous! It "needs to be tuned," but you can "still play all keys" (so clearly, "like new")! whome

Those isolating casters are worth more than the piano.

I have never heard of "Wheelock" pianos. Can anyone help? It sounds more like an accessory for protecting an exposed spare tyre from theft.

I think the name of the piano is describing its special casters! 😂😂😂

This is what Google turned up:

Wheelock pianos

Sounds like it was a New York company that started making pianos in the 1870s, merged with Weber in 1882, and was bought/became part of the Aeolian conglomerate in 1903.
