Hi,

Here's my latest piece for you to enjoy, "Pastoral March". I took the advice of someone here on the Pianoworld Forums and learned to tune my own piano. Many hours and three complete tunings later, here is the result. If you'd like to give me any criticism (about the piece), I'd be delighted to read it!

Ill just add yet another piece here.

I enjoy going on walks and admiring the neighbors' gardens, even when the flowers are dusted with snow.

And a better-sounding recording:

Thanks for listening!

I very much enjoyed that Jordan. Full of beautiful phrasing and a very pleasing melody.

We composers never really like suggestions but I would say that I felt since the RH went nearly to the top end, the LH should then delve a little deeper. That was all, I just think that would have made it feel more complete. But that's just a very minor quibbly thought.

Otherwise, I thought it was a beautiful piece.

I very much prefer the better sounding recordings to the point I wouldn't post the others. The action noise detracts from the experience. As for your pieces they're nicely crafted and enjoyable.

Thanks very much!

Owen, I appreciate the suggestion - I often try changing the register of various parts to see how they sound. It's a good practice.

Steve, that's the first I've heard about the action - I hear it myself, and I do prefer the audio recordings (made with Pianoteq 7), but there's a certain spectacle about a live acoustic performance with all of its quirks. Thanks for chiming in!

Thanks for posting these, Jordan! Really enjoyable pieces with some unexpected moments of virtuosity (LH octaves in the 'March'!). Look forward to hearing more smile

That's a lovely compliment, Fred, and I'm delighted to make your acquaintance! I'm enjoying your videos too.
