Congratulations Brdwyguy! I imagine the days ahead will seem very long until you get your new best friend! I wish you happiness and joy and years and years of playing.

Yes, neither can I --- especially that is a Steinway, after all that!
LOL

Still can't believe it yet.
I'm going to have a Steinway Grand sitting in my music room to play.
WOW
Thanking God everyday!

Congratulations!

First, I want everyone to know that brdwyguy sent me a very considerate email apologizing for buying a piano before he came to see me. That was so totally unnecessary and totally appreciated, brdwyguy!

I am certain you will be very happy with this piano you chose. (Of course when you are visiting Philly, you better stop by! smile )

HAPPY PIANO!

Thank You for the kind words as well.

I saw the picture first and immediately thought that it should be an A2, then I saw Keith's reply. Congratulations! I live with a 'modern' A2 and while it is not the 'golden-age' one, I think there is something in its scale design that it is an amazing instrument.

when I began my search, I knew I wanted a Steinway or Mason & Hamlin from that Golden Era of Pianos 1900 - 1929.
Guess if you have the patience it eventually will happen and you will find your dream.

wink

It’s fantastic that you found the piano of your dreams! And in your own backyard!
