I'm just setting up an old PC again to work with UVI / ravenscroft 275 after setting up a macbook pro for a while and saw there are some new options under the PC version that really improved performance in the windows environment. Under settings, there's a low latency Windows Audio mode and at 128 samples, latency is 2.7ms. So far, it's about par with the macbook and I'm just using the built in audio device in my 2010 desktop PC, not the ASIO driver on my interface. Haven't had crackles or drop outs yet, so I might not bother making it more complicated.

Sorry if I missed discussion of it over the last few months while I was actually practicing like a good student :-) but performance has really improved in v.3.0.18

It seems an extremely low latency for that buffer size, I wonder if that latency is really that low. Around 7-10ms would be usual

At 44100Hz, 128 samples need 2.9ms. 2.7ms at 48000Hz. But the actual latency is higher, but perhaps the driver doesn’t report the added value.

It's probably not quite that low - but at 128 samples, response in playing the vpc1 is quite good and seems as good as (maybe better on my hardware) using the ASIO driver and roughly equivalent to using my macbook pro.
