Reckon I could print a life-size NV10 faster than Kawai can make one. Ordered 6 months ago and still waiting.

Yes, it's a 3d model, not a 3d print. If you have the model you can print it out.

So, would I be buying pics to look at (or print out,) or am I getting a scale model of piano like this?

Couple of years ago I was looking for a piano action to 3d print for fun. Can't find anything.

If I get some time and energy, I'd love to try.

I am still curious to know.

It's 3D model data, which can be loaded into a modelling/rendering package running on a computer, and then manipulated as desired. One use would be to create nice, high-res pictures or videos of a "virtual" NV10 in a "virtual" penthouse, as we see in the rendered examples.
