What stage piano did you buy? Do you gig, or are you like me, wanting the simplified and direct user interface that you won't get with a workstation-?
Bluthner Pro 88.
I don’t gig (I’m a beginner), but have played at practice events, bring an instrument and have some fun type things with friends.
I too like simplicity. For a small venue, like a village hall, the Bluthner Pro 88 is just about loud enough using its internal speakers.
It has a Fatar action, so not as good as the usual recommended brands.
It has few built in sounds but they are all good (IMO), perhaps better than equivalents from other makes (again IMO).
I have thought of changing it for something else, but similar good portable pianos with built in speakers have issues too, either key action or sound not being to my liking.
Thanks for the mini review, didn't even know about Bluthner DPs. I thought they made their own action?

I would not like to have any speakers on the new upcoming MP8. I would like it to be like the "old" MP7SE, with the same aluminum chassis but with the option to choose between 88 or 73 RH3 keys. With 73 keys, it would be the most perfect transport-friendly piano for gigs that I could think of. I would have bought it right away.

For me there are only two options right now, either Korg Grandstage 73 or Korg SV-2 73. The other manufacturers does not have any nice piano action in their 73-key alternative. I am not going to buy a keyboard with Fatar-action again so the new Nord Piano 5 -73 is not an option.
