Hello all,

I wanted to share that pljansen.com is the address of the manufacturer of Jansen benches. Although I really do not think it is the right thing to do, an online retailer bought the name "Jansenpianobenches.com'. Although they retail SOME Jansen benches, the confusion i see here is justified. I believe many visitors to the site feel they are at the Jansen website. They are not.

I would add that pianosupplies.com is ALSO a retailer of Jansen benches as well as others. Please look there as well. We would all love to support Frank (who runs pianoworld) and pianosupplies.com is a great way that we can do that. I bet he could even get you a bench that you do not see displayed in his store. Give him a try!

Edited to add: this is one of the recommended brands

i ordered one of these cps benches off Amazon. I would not recommend it. It makes squeaking noises. Maybe I got a bad one but not super happy with it.

@dusty1920, thank you for the link! I think I found my bench. From what I can tell, people seem to like the Andexinger lift-o-matic benches, but of course I have to be different. 😂

Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to come with a dog, but it’s a compromise my two cats are willing to demand that I make.

Not a problem! smile Yeah mine is the lift-o-matic, but if it's the same brand, i'm sure your choice is probably of equally high quality too. It has good reviews on the site. Hope you enjoy!
