Are there any opinions here, when successors of these models may be released?

In my opinion, there will be replacements next month. smile But you know what they say about opinions. smile

Yeah I was curious about that too, considering that these models have been around for 3-5 years already

I was kidding (as the previous poster asked for opinions). Some other answers re. NAMM (virtual) make more sense. But with current pandemics situation, manufacturers may have put plans of renewing their DP offers on hold.

Lol I see. Also, yeah that makes sense. The ES920 did not come out until 5 years after the ES8 was released, when normally, Kawai releases their pianos every 3 years (I think?). ES8 came out sometime late 2015/early 2016, and I believe the old ES7 came out back in 2012. I am unsure of when Yamaha will release the successor to the P125, or maybe they will wait another 2 years like Kawai did. Idk, just my opinions on the linups

I think I will add the ES520 to my list, but alas, Kawai is not well established in my country, so I cannot test them out

Thank you, Roland, for the answer.

I'm not going to put money on this prediction (though my last two predictions were fairly accurate), but I think Kawai will beat Yamaha to release - so if you are not in any great rush to buy: wait a couple of months smile

I might just get the P125. I do not need to spend much, but I also need to plug in my mobile devices to play music through. I believe that the Yamaha has a built-in audio interface in its USB port, but the new Roland FPX models also look interesting as well.
