I still can't believe that some people here enjoy putting down this man (for more see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_Vinheteiro )

"...is a Brazilian pianist, audio engineer, youtuber and humorist. Best known for having the largest specialized piano channel in the world on YouTube, with more than 6 million subscribers, in addition to being part of the Pânico program, from Jovem Pan FM in Brazil and co-host of Master Podcast."

How does YOUR resume compare?

I sorry about saying I wanted to throw a tomato at him. The truth remains he played those Mozart pieces on an awfull , old
plonky piano and he played them terribly badly. I can see he has ability , but for some reason he wanted to say LOOK this is
Mozart ! ......which was pretty dumb to say the least !
Therefore I provided two examples of how exquisite Mozart music really is .It is a pity you CANNOT see that or hear the difference.
As I said a thread often developes .So now we are discussing how Mozart sounds when he is played like he should be played.
Do you want to still really want to give a false impression
of Mozart because of how this humorist played it ?

The humorist played the sonata in C K330 .Compare his playing to Zimmerman on a wonderful instrument.
This whole dispute is comic , so I shall stop after this. (I hope)

So the above table is more "idealistic"(idealistic?)than true.
The same goes for composers of the late Rennassance and the early Baroque.

Lady Bird missed the point again <sigh> The point of the timeline was composers on pianos before and after1880. The latter composed on 'modern day pianos' that we have today.

Lady Bird missed the point again <sigh> The comparison was between the period piano as heard by Mozart and modern day piano as played by most of us.

Do you really play as well as he did? Recording?

Well, at least you apologized. You should apologize to him, though.

You missed the point that old Clanker , candlesticks and all is not a period instrument. That is not Mozart. He tries to say this Mozart ( and that is all Mozart is ) Well he is ridiculous.

Do you not realise he is joking ?

What has that timeline to do with Mozart --nothing !
What kind of piano did Dufay or Joaquin de Pres play on -none
Where does it mention the development of the piano in the timeline ?

No, Lady Bird, it is you who missed the point again <sigh> The point of this thread is 6' and 4' as played by most of us. That's what most of us have.

As I said earlier, there is another thread for 9' played by world class performers.

BTW, putting him down in such crass terms is not credible if you can't show with a recording that you are better. Maybe you are only half as bad as him?

Here is another point that Lady Bird missed <sigh> The comparison (in a single posting with 2 videos) was between Robert Levin playing Mozart on a period piano vs how most of us play Mozart on a modern day piano.

Clunker? There are 40 million piano students in China. I bet 39 million practice on 'clunkers'.

Sorry, folks, but Lady Bird missed so many points and then she attacks people based on those missed points. That has to be called out frown
