I reckon you can hide a few in a rat's nest like that! I've seen a few like that! (Speaking strictly here about rats' nests, that is, made of cables...)

Just joined a few weeks back, and thought this as good a time as any to make my first post. Here's my recently purchased Yamaha NU1X. There's a new Apple silicon Macbook Pro sitting just on top, for when I want to run various VSTi's or do some recording. Most of my sheet music is on the 12" iPad Pro, but it does occasionally get connected to run some iPad instruments, or to play some music on the piano's speakers.

Welcome Kerri! Excellent choice with the NU1X. For a moment I thought that was a real bunny.

Well, the P515 is a different animal from the CA58, I'd say, the P515 being more akin to the MP11SE.
To be honest, I have a slight preference for the CA58 : I like the 'just sit down and play' element. The MP11SE is like that, too, in a way, but the fact that I need to power on the amps separately and seeing all the wires hanging out, somehow diminishes the enjoyment a bit.
Nevertheless, the MP11SE is still a cracking piano and something like the CA58 wouldn't be suited for the location my MP11SE is in wink

I tested it against the CLP645, then bought the 515 untried; slabs never sound decent in a music shop but when you put one in a little room, it's a nice neat solution which sounds fine.

The homemade cabinet/shells are always the most "fun" to see. And I agree, this one looks excellent. I'm waiting for someone to put a badly-stretched photo/decal of the inside of a grand harp/strings onto the top smile

That is one huge music rest! It's so strange to see a grand cabinet with one pedal laugh

Did an excellent job. Just needs a cover on top of the keyboard to hide the buttons on top and the whole setup would look like a baby grand.

At the other end of the spectrum there's the one found here on Piano World. Just awful. Invented by a sadist.

In addition, in the past, Piano World could store full-size images. Now, only no more than 800×600. Therefore, if earlier I tried to add images directly to this forum, as, for example, here, now I will definitely not post images here, but upload them to third-party resources.

When you've worked out how to u/l piccies to PW site, it's obvious how easy it is but like so many websites and indeed, labelling on grocery products, instructions on food packets, cooking etc etc, small obscure print rules. And in the least expected places, you have the final button to press which actually gets the job done.
There's a dearth of folk who have the common sense to write a decent website, that's the trouble.
And the older you get, the more you notice it . . . .
It's a trend that needs to be stopped! (ageing)

tangothomas, what a beautiful setting! Guyl's cabinet should be a kit design that people can buy & download -- it's terrific. Meghdad, I love your piano! grin grin
