In all the talk of piano VSTs on here, I don't recall seeing this one mentioned. Has anyone tried this before?

Hans Zimmer PIano

All I Know is that the Rachmaninoff demonstration is superbly impressive, and that I'm a huge fan of Hans Zimmer laugh
If I was very rich I would by this library, but for my music composing there are virtual instruments much more urgent for me to buy, and they are not virtual pianos.

But judging by the demo, it's one of the best sounding and most detailed sampled piano out there IMHO.

Is Hans Zimmer going to make it sound/feel good? Just a sample library arranged into layers... pass

Yes, I agree. It's a bit cost prohibitive to me at this point, given that I have other options that work for me. The whole Spitfire "collection" is over $15K. Yikes!

Well, in summary, the general consensus seems to be not worth the price. Almost seems criminal to charge that much and only sample every third key, particularly with the number samples they brag about. Pass for me as well.
