Wow, such a sad turn of events! frown

As for getting replacement parts ... I could answer for the US, but I don't know the situation in Viet Nam.
Is there a Kawai dealer or parts department there? Look on the Kawai web site.

Or ... maybe Piano World member Kawai James will see this and offer assistance?

Yikes! Thankfully you’re still here... and you still have a piano.

Next time (hopefully it NEVER EVER happens to you again) just don’t take any chances - leave the building.

My poor grandmother got bad burns from trying to rescue things in a fire. Lived to almost 100 after that, but it could have been a very different story after just a few seconds.

Stay safe.

Learning to play. Consciously incompetent, which apparently is a good starting point. smirk

Hello beginer,

I'm sorry to read that your room and some possessions were damaged in a fire. However, it's a relief that there were no serious injuries (beyond the singed hair).

Regarding your query, it should be possible to order/purchase a replacement music rest for the ES110 from Kawai's Vietnam distributor:

Quote
VIET THUONG CORPORATION
386 Cach Mang Thang Tam St., District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Tel: +84-8-931-6540
URL: http://www.vietthuong.vn/

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,
James

Here's a possibility: Full Compass at https://www.fullcompass.com

Look in the Musical Instruments > Keyboards section at https://www.fullcompass.com/category/musical-instruments/keyboards-and-midi

Fingers crossed. smile
