Hi!

I'm looking for somebody with connections at Casio Pianos, perhaps somebody who work there.

I've found an unflattering spelling error, on their website, that simply has to be corrected.

Please feel free to contact me via PM.

Thank you!

You've gotta be kidding...

Maybe try the "contact us" link. I doubt Casio would be hanging out here, unless they're masochists. grin

Mike Martin is occasionally here. Maybe a PM would reach him:

When I first saw this thread yesterday I resisted. I ignored it. It's just fluff.

But now it's Friday ... and I'm taking the bait.

So come on. Starting a topic here on a piano web site ... to seek help in correcting a typo on some other web page?

1. Iz the Tipo impotent? Reely?
2. Is this the place to seek remedy for such grievous insult?
3. Does anyone care?

Yes, Mike Martin might drop by, though I haven't seen comments from him for quite a long time. Maybe he takes a look at PW every now and then, and the title of this thread might catch his attention.

You can try the Casio Music Forums:

https://www.casiomusicforums.com/

Or this Facebook group:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/PX5SPX560/

Don't mind the jokers, some PW members have a bit odd sense of humour. wink

I think it would be better if we launch another web site where we can report typos found on this website. We could also have a meta-reporting website, where we link to the various topics on other websites collecting typos on other websites.

On-topic: I noticed that on the casio website they frequently misspell 'regular digital piano action' as 'hybrid'. Not sure who I should contact?

The British and the US spelling, as English is not my mother tongue, I sometimes forget which is which. smirk

English is not my mother tounge either.

The spelling error on Casios website I've found is typical of a japanese writing in English, adding to this, the result is rather funny.

Oh well, as long as you can spell "electronic keyboard" as "hybrid piano" then anything goes. grin

I'm really bothered by "should of known" and "axing a question".

Nut that I don't make any misstakes meself...

And if Yamaha spelled/spelt "Real Grand Expression" as "Rear Gland Expression" I might try to contact them too to point out the typo.

Unless it was the veterinary branch (Caninova?) of the Yamaha Corporation. 🐶🐕🐩
