Please excuse me for December 5 - 7 as I had some bad coughing days. Although I didn't feel too sick, it was challenging to play the piano. I am back today.

Had to miss Dec. 4, 6,7,8, and 9 for business travel. Not great timing with piano jury coming up next week, but it couldn't be helped.

Back at it (I hope) for the rest of the year.

Hi,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while and I am late posting this. I did not practice from July 14- December 13. I don't really have a good reason. Just not using my time wisely and pressing through things and still practicing. I am happily back on the band wagon as of today Dec 14. I am recommitted to practicing and not missing days.

Well, arghhh! I am so close to the finish line and I am stumbling. We have family coming to visit in a few days and it has been rather hectic getting ready. I am putting myself on report for Dec 21 and 24. Too much to do in too little time.

A lack of talent does not stop you from learning piano. It just takes longer and you have to work harder.

Please excuse me for Dec 25th-28th..just the usual holiday craziness.

Doris, I’m not on the list for this year I noticed. I signed up Jan. 5th, 2019. Not a big deal, I’d still practice:-)

Thanks for your work on this thread these last few years!

Yes, true, but I’d choose it over a bad memory. Just add perspective.

One more confession, hopefully the last of the year. I didn't make it to the bench on Christmas Day.
I've had quite a few missed days this year, but a;ways been right back at it again, so I'm satisfied enough with my imperfect record :-)

Did not practice Thursday 12/26. No good excuse -- just exhausted. Back at it since then.

Will there be a MOYD 2020? I am already on a one day (for this year) streak.

Yes, there will be a MOYD 2020. I have had a house full of family visitors for the last 10 days, an have only now been able to check in. I will have badges made and a 2020 thread up by tomorrow.
