I am going to be in Sydney for the first two weeks of November.

I will probably be wanting to find somewhere I can go and do some practise. If anyone has suggestions that would be appreciated.

Secondly, the piano my father plays in his retirement care place is out of tune and his efforts to get someone to tune it have failed. He is willing to pay. I would like to try and organize a tuner to do this for him. My father won't talk with me, so I won't be able to find out details about the piano model at all beforehand.

If there is someone who knows a reliable tuner in Sydney's inner west that would be great.

Surprisingly easy, barely an inconvenience.

This is a possible practice place for you but you might have to pay the commercial rate or talk to them nicely.

That looks awesome, also walking distance from my friends place I will be staying in while in Sydney. I'll have to see what I can do.

Try the local Church - 3 Churches I'm involved in allow people to practise their Pipe Organs - and in the past when away from home, I've practised on pianos in Churches.

Thanks for this. I have booked for 2 hours practise here on Friday.

I don’t need the piano tuner for the piano at the retirement place for my father. It is a digital piano, a Yamaha Clavinova and it has recently been repaired.

So glad to hear you found a place. Pack your sunscreen and brolly, the weather is all over the place this and next week smirk
