With the greatest respect, I have to wonder if you actually watched the video before posting the link. It should be obvious after a few seconds that this clip is produced by an Australian Kawai dealer, and shot at their store...not at the Musikmese exhibition.

Kind regards,
James

Kawai DPs' prices in Australia are quite good compared to other major manufacturers, e.g. CA17=2300+ aud, CA67=3100+ aud, CA97=4200+ aud, which are about 1600-1700, 2200-2300,3000 usd respectively, there is always a queue for CA67 buyers to wait for their orders.

In honour of Brooster I've found this brand new video of Kawai's next generation CA99, previewed at Musikmesse...

And before you carp on James about whether I've watched it and can be sure it is what I say it is. Yes! This is clearly a secret new CA series 'on steroids' under a coded brand name. I don't know why you lot are bothering with the Novus thing when you've already got this in the pipeline...

Sadly, that's not even the worst that I've heard. These might be:

There's more on that channel, but save yourselves and stay away!

This gives a better impression of that toy keyboard inside a digital piano lookalike console:

Note the rather fitting datecode at 1:00. grin

The most disappointing thing this year at a Musik exhibition was the Roland RD-2000 at NAMM 2017.

Roland took the OLD TECH from their previous-previous semi-supernatural RD's and NX's along with the PHA 1, 2, 3, 4 etc and threw in the new -old ?V-Piano? then put some racing strips on the sides to pretend that it is souped up. Souped up? More like re-heated Mulligan Stew.
What I was hoping for was an Integra 88 with an improved keyboard action.
The lineage of the Integra 7 is the Jupter-80 - not re-hashed mulligans!

When you get right down to it pianos are just 88 key drums. wink

I was hoping for better Hammond features, and at least it's got nine faders now wink
